We have played a pivotal role in the development of shared education in Northern Ireland. Schools based largely on religious lines have been supported and funded to work together to break down religious barriers and ensure our children form important friendships and benefit educationally from new opportunities. This work has inspired the government to mainstream shared education into government policy.
