Mission
Build transformational women’s leadership and networks of community organizations to change the lives of women and men in rural areas
Most Meaningful Change
We were able to grant stipends for 195 rural women for their work in home-based care. We generated an awareness among these careworkers of the need to reduce their debt and establish savings groups in their community organizations. These savings groups have the potential to promote equality in household decision making, trust and solidarity in the organization, and the longer-term potential of women establishing microbusinesses to generate income and break out of poverty.
